Whale Watching Daily Diary – November 23rd 2025

With such weather conditions, nothing could go wrong. The water was calm, almost like a mirror, with perfect visibility and no wind.

We set sail towards the islands in search of whales, and quite quickly we saw not one, but two adult humpback whales. They were calm but active, surfacing every now and then to show us their beautiful tails. We know them very well – these are the whales that have been hanging around the harbour for a long time. In the meantime, as if out of nowhere, we saw some happy harbour porpoises too!

In the afternoon, we sailed straight east to meet our favourite humpback friends again by Viðey. It was a relaxing tour, which we consider a success, of course.
