We went out to sea on a sunny day with a bit of wind, but it was coming from a good direction, so the water stayed calm.
After about an hour of sailing, we arrived at the last spot where we had seen whales in recent days near Hafnarfjörður Harbour.
After a pleasant cruise, we started spotting some blows. Finally, we found a humpback whale still in the area. It swam very close to the boat, and we stayed with it for a while, watching it surface multiple times before heading back home.
Conditions for the coming week look great—calm waters and continued whale sightings every day!
