Reykjavik Iceland, whale watching Tour photo; White-beaked dolphin fins swimming through the ocean

Summer is just around the corner in Iceland, and you can really feel it out on the bay! The conditions today were pleasant, making it a great day to head out and explore what marine life we could find.

We had an exciting start almost immediately after leaving the harbour. Just five minutes into the trip, we encountered our first minke whales, a fantastic beginning to the tour. As we continued further into the bay, we were delighted to find humpback whales. Although they weren’t the most active today, they surfaced several times, giving us beautiful and memorable views.

The sightings didn’t stop there—we were also joined by pods of dolphins, swimming playfully around us, as well as harbour porpoises, making their quick and elusive appearances.
