Reykjavik Iceland, whale watching Tour photo; humpback whale surfacing viewed from side during whale watching from Reykjavik Iceland

Morning tour

This morning in Faxaflói Bay we enjoyed beautiful sea conditions with calm waters and plenty of sunshine.
Shortly after heading out, we encountered a lively group of white-beaked dolphins swimming around the boat.
The dolphins stayed close for a while, giving everyone a great view of their playful behavior.
Later on, we spotted a huge humpback whale surfacing nearby several times.
The whale came incredibly close to the boat, making for an unforgettable morning at sea!

Afternoon tour

This afternoon in Faxaflói Bay we once again encountered the same humpback whale seen earlier in the morning.
The whale gave us several great views before we continued sailing farther out into the bay.
After about 20 more minutes at sea, we came across a group of white-beaked dolphins.
Some of the dolphins were actively jumping, creating an exciting and lively encounter for everyone on board.
In the same area, we also spotted several harbour porpoises that came exceptionally close to the boat, making the afternoon tour extra special!
