Whale Watching Daily Diary – May 7th 2026

Today in Faxaflói Bay, the ocean showed its power – it was really choppy and windy.

Morning Tour:

We decided to set our sails despite challenging conditions on the sea. After quite some time we entered the area with many birds, always a good sign! Eventually we did spot one minke whale but only for few moments. As it was not enough, we offered complimentary tickets to all passengers, so they can come back on the tour anytime within 3 years.

Afternoon Tour:

The afternoon tour remained similar as for weather conditions and unfortunately there was no whales to be found so again, we offered complimentary tickets to all passengers.
