Daily diary – September 26 2024

In the morning, accompanied by a fresh northerly wind, our tour was accompanied by two very calm Humpback Whales, which we were able to observe making long deep dives lasting several minutes.

For the afternoon tour, we were lucky enough to see 3 of the 4 marine species usually seen in the bay where we do our tours named Faxaflói Bay:

3 Humpback Whales
4 Minke Whales
A pod of 4/5 Harbour Porpoise

We were lucky enough to observe the tail slap of one of the Humpback Whales very close to the boat.
