Daily diary – December 18 2024

We had really bright blue skies as we set out into the cold. As soon as we got the islands we found all three humpback whales! We focused on the individual humpback first, as it was actively feeding for the entire tour! It then started heading more north, away from the islands, so we went to see the pair of humpback whales. However, they were also diving for really long times and travelling far between dives. The pair soon caught up to the individual humpback whale, and then the pair of whales starting rolling whilst the individual one swam right under the boat! Unfortunately after all of that fun we had to head back to harbour.
