Daily diary – December 28 2024

This morning the weather had finally gotten a lot better, with blue sunny skies, so we headed out for the morning and soon found 3 humpback whales. they were all feeding by themselves, and the second one we came across, was rolling in the water! The first one we saw was being a bit shy but soon came closer near the other one and we enjoyed its beauty! The third humpback whale was logging and then went for a dive, so we only saw it once! What a brilliant way to start the day!

We then went out for the afternoon, all very excited about the whales! And after getting to the location, we soon realised there was a 4th and 5th humpback whale in the mix! They were all still busy feeding so they kept surfacing in different places! We got to enjoy 3 of them up close whilst enjoying the beautiful scenery and blue skies.
