After several unpredictable and canceled days, we were finally able to head out again this afternoon. The weather had calmed down, with better conditions than before. However, there was still a bit of wind and some waves, but nothing too bad.
We decided to go to Hafnarfjörður, where we had spotted whales in the previous days. After an hour of sailing, the sight was stunning: four humpback whales, numerous seals, and northern gannets feeding near the harbor. At times, we could observe the whales from very close « it was magical ».
Despite the challenging days, we have incredible whales here in Reykjavik and the surrounding areas.
