Daily diary – February 12 2025

Out we went into the choppy sea, and soon arrived at Hafnarfjodur! We were in luck as we found 2 humpback whales! They were swimming around separately but soon came together for a short period! Out of nowhere, we had one breach!!! It was amazing. There was a third one in the distance but it didn’t get close for us to see.

We headed back out for the afternoon, with the weather calming a bit, and found all 3 humpback whales! Two of them had joined together to start lunge feeding and rolling as they fed! It was a beautiful sight to see! The third one disappeared but the other two kept us entertained!
