With the cold southerly winds and the cloudy sky, we set to the bay and found a pod of harbour porpoises, swimming around the boat, fairly close for a change! We then headed around the corner and found 2 humpback whales feeding in the same area! One of them was more active than the other, surfacing every 2 minutes, whilst the other was diving for 10-15 minutes. We saw lots of seals around the boat, but what grabbed our attention was when the humpback whale surfaced right under the bow of the ship!
