Daily diary – January 20 2025

The blue skies had finally returned, and the calm seas were so inviting, so we headed out into the bay. When we reached our destination, we found a humpback whale. It was really active and swimming all around the different boats, checking each of them out! The whale swam close to us a few times as it fed. A few times it came up lunge feeding just at the surface! We saw so many seals and birds taking advantage as the humpback whale fed, feeding off the ‘scraps’ that were left behind.
