Daily diary – July 15 2024

It was the hottest day of the year so far! 17 degrees, no wind and a great sun. Dream conditions for whale watching.
In the morning we were lucky to have about fifteen dolphins around the boat swimming with us for almost an hour. On the way back we stopped at one point because a Minke whale showed up several times.
In the afternoon, it took us a long time to see something. In the end we were super well rewarded! A minke whale, dolphins and a humpback whale very close to us.
Not to mention all the birds and the beautiful weather which is very pleasant. The week should continue with great conditions!
