Daily diary – July 8 2024

This morning’s tour was very peaceful, with very few waves and little wind, and it was in these conditions that we were able to follow two humpback whales, one of which was asleep. When whales are asleep, they remain very stable a few meters below the surface of the water, moving very slowly, and appearing regularly at the surface. We could even continue to see them when they were underwater, thanks to their white pectoral fins.

As for our second tour of the day, it was accompanied by 3 humpback whales who felt comfortable enough to come close enough to the boat, all along our tour.
