looking at whale

Early in the morning, our adventure began with moderate waves and average visibility, but fortunately, little wind, which provided better conditions for our search. It’s always rewarding to have your help and participation in this quest!

Suddenly, we thought we saw the remnants of a “geyser,” likely indicating the presence of a humpback whale. After a short wait, there she/he was! Our friend was exploring in search of food. We were lucky enough to witness her/his fluke and learn about the crucial role of photo-identification in the study and understanding of these magnificent creatures.
