Daily diary – October 15 2024

An incredible day here in Reykjavik. Despite the slightly rainy weather, the weather was generally good and the sea was beautiful.
We left in the morning with Amelia Rose only> As we left the harbour we saw a Minke whale in the distance and then 20-30 minutes later 3 Minke whales were very close to the boat. It was a great show but it was just a warm up as we continued on our way and saw 3 Humpback whales swimming together, a great show.

In the afternoon we set off again, but this time there were not 3 but 4 Humpback whales! Here’s a video from our RIB boat!
