Forecast from Vedur.is : Tonight we are expecting clear skies and high KP index, the Northern Lights tour is on!

Comment: We set sail from the harbour under a cloudless sky and with a very calm sea. The conditions were therefore perfect!

The aurora appeared even before the sky had completely darkened – a delicate ribbon above Mount Esja. As total darkness fell, the aurora grew brighter and took on distinct shades of green! We ended a wonderful night with smiles on our faces.
