Daily Diary – May 02 2024

We set off in both RIB boat and Arctic Rose in rainy conditions with poor visibility. Fortunately, as soon as we got out to sea there were no waves or rain and visibility improved. We first saw a small group of 6 white-beaked dolphins, but they tended to dive a lot. Shortly afterwards a humpback whale also spent a lot of time underwater. We ended up with a dozen dolphins jumping all around the boat, they were very curious and played with the boats. On the way back, we stopped to watch dozens or even hundreds of puffins! It was a wonderful day.
